I am a California girl, but didn't realize it until I was 18 and moved here. (I'm still here. I love California!) I spent my first 18 years mostly in Texas. A few were spent in Alabama (which I don't remember), South Carolina (which I vaguely remember), and Washington (which was nice in a lot of ways, but the weather there conflicts with my need for sunshine).

I'm a girl in my 20s, in awe of the crazy world around me, trying to soak up the good parts and live a pretty happy existance. So far, so good.

I'm mostly optimistic, and definitely a bit geeky. I love spending time on the internet, and do so often. In fact, I tend to browse online journals and blogs a bit more than I probably should.

I'm a "freak on the inside," to quote one of my friends. "A closet nutcase," were the words my Band Director used. I'd say those descriptions are pretty accurate. Deep down, I'm just a silly, funky girl.

I have a husband named Joe and 2 cats named Patches and Homer.
