Once upon a time, in a land not so far away, called the Internet, existed a wonderful place, known as Zen Palace. Here, friends would gather and chat long into the night about many subjects, ranging from their day to their plans to crazy trivia, gossip, or nonsensical gibberish from staying up too late.

   It was in this place that Ellison the mouse and The Ferreteer, the alien, first met each other and became friends.

One November night, all the friends from Zen Palace decided to meet in another place to chat and have fun. This place was Hawaii. Ellison could not go on this trip, and neither could The Ferreteer. They were the only ones online that night! Macnut the bunni was on for a little while, but then he had to go pick up MissP from the airport. Ellison and The Ferreteer were left alone, and were the only 2 creatures at Zen palace.

They began to talk and soon found that they had a lot in common, including their silly senses of humor and their taste in music. Ellison sensed there was some magic in the air that night.

   Things kept getting better and better as The Ferreteer and Ellison continued to talk. Hours passed by like shooting stars! And before the night was over, the two decided to be cyber-boyfriend and girlfriend.

   Not long after that first night together, The Ferreteer asked Ellison on a cyber date. She was so excited! So was he. Here is a picture of their first date together:

It was a total success, and both were very happy. They began talking on the phone, which was great fun for both of them! The Ferreteer also told Ellison that he was visiting Hawaii in January, because he couldn't go in November, and asked if she'd like to come. At first, she didn't know if she'd be able to, but it turned out that she could!

In December, Ellison and her family moved and passed through the city where The Ferreteer lived. The lucky mouse and alien were able to meet in person and have dinner together side by side for the first time!

   It seemed like an eternity between the time they met and the trip to Hawaii, but the day did eventually come. Ellison flew to The Ferreteer's home, and from there they flew to Hawaii together, a week which was the best second date either of them could ever have imagined!

   Since then, they have only fallen more and more in love each day. Who ever could have guessed that a relationship between a mouse and an alien could have worked out so well?

Today, The Ferreteer and Ellison continue to live happily ever after...
