Hello! My name's Meg. I live in California with my husband and two cats. Their names are Joe, Homer, and Patches, respectively. I'm head-over-heels in love with all of them, confidentially speaking. The four of us are now back in Los Angeles as of July 2004. The land of sunshine, palm trees, cool breezes, ocean waves, beaches, and Disneyland! What's not to love? We moved here from the Bay Area, where we spent a few years. It was pretty nice there, but it's definitely great to be back! I love animals with a crazy passion unlike anything else. If you love animals, too, we'll always have something to talk about. I'm kind of shy and very introverted. That doesn't mean I don't talk up a storm ('cause I do). It just means that after a while of talking and having fun with you, or after a long and crazy day at work/school, I'm going to need to go home and be very quiet for a few hours to avoid going insane. I have a wacky sense of humor that a few people in my life share, thankfully. Since the start of this journal, I've had several jobs. I volunteered at a wildlife center before they hired me as a teacher. Then, I taught for them in either the classrooms or the marsh/waste water treatment plant for a total of two years. Meanwhile, I worked at a no-kill animal shelter as a dog trainer/kennel attendant, as a nanny for a toddler during the summer of 2003, and at a clothes store briefly in December 2003. Right now, I'm a new transfer student at UCLA, so my profession is: student! I'm a Pre-Psychology major, and hope to apply what I learn to animal behavior and psychology. My career goals involve becoming a zookeeper, or animal behaviorist of some kind. I'm also currently volunteering at an awesome wildlife facility that I refer to as Little Zoo. My zodiac sign is Taurus. I fit the description pretty well, I think. I am currently making efforts to be healthier with meditation and exercise, and weirdly enough, I'm actually making some progress. It's kind of awesome, if I do say so myself. Anyway, enough about me! How're you doing? Want to know more? Check here!
