Quiet, you!

Anyway, I think I zonked my shoulder all out of whack this afternoon (that's the official medical terminology, by the way). When Victor and I were in the park, he headed towards a toy that belonged to another kid. I scooped him up with one arm to move him back towards the truck he'd just left, a maneuver I (perhaps stupidly) use frequently with him. Well, he threw a super tantrum (something he ordinarily saves for home, not the park), flailing and bucking his body wildly as he screamed, and I must have moved weird in order to avoid dropping him. And now my shoulder's killing me. Oh, the hazards of childcare...

Feel free to send me a big box of sanity, y'all. I could use it.

Now, for a sense of balance, it's Cute Victor Story Time!

Yesterday, Sabs opened the door while holding him and said what he says everyday, "Look, it's Meg!"

But this time, Victor said, "Meh!" Awesome! He's never done that before!

Also, today he hopped on the chair next to my backpack, put one arm through the shoulder strap, waved at me, and said, "Bah-bye!" Hee!

Lately, he's also been wanting to be picked up at the end of the day when I'm about ready to leave. I'll have my backpack on and he wants up. So I pick him up and he says "bye!" over and over, waving at the window. I'm not sure if he thinks I'm taking him to the park again or what. It's very funny though.

I love that every time he sees a dog, he says, "Dawww!" And he's taken to saying, "Kick-at" for kitty cat. Hee! Little kid words are funny!
