Actual conversation I had with the clerk at the liquor store -

Him: Is this all?
Me: Yes.
Him: Are you sure?
Me: Yes.
Him: (blank stare, hesitation)
Me: Why? Is there a minimum?
Him: No...
Me: Then, this is all I need.
Him: (nods, rings up my credit card, then as it's printing...) It's just we don't get any profit from this.
Me: (sigh of annoyance)
Him: (grumbling to self) I mean, it really should be at least ten dollars.
Me: (Pondering if it's worth my time and adrenaline surge to yell at him, "WHAT PART OF 'IS THERE A MINIMUM?' DID YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?!!")

I decided it was not. Probably because I'd just taken a peaceful walk. And because I am not rude. No matter how much I want to be sometimes. Seriously, though, what the fuck is that guy's problem? I will never go in there again - good job losing yourself some business there, buddy!

In much happier news, today was my last final!! I'm FREEEEE! I think it went really well, though after talking over answers with my friends afterwards, I realized I made a few stupid mistakes. Ugh. I hate that. But anyway, overall it was great, and yesterday's test went really well, too. I'm crossing my fingers for As!

What a relief! You'd think I'd be ready to bust out and go crazy, but instead I feel like crawling in a hole and sleeping for a year. I think an hour or so will do just fine, though.

Another piece of randomness: I talked with the childhood anxiety research guy this week, and am now part of the team! Then today I found out one of my friends is also working in that lab, so we may get to work together! She was giving me the lowdown, and it sounds great. Plus, since I can dedicate myself to this research through next Fall (I figured why not, since I'll be there anyway, right?), I get to do the research assistant position that interests me the most. This is all working out, after all!
