Christmastime

(( Monday, December 26, 2005 // 03: 16 AM ))

Joe and I had a fun Christmas! First there was the family phone calling extravaganza this morning. It's pretty fun. It's this whole circle of calling each other, which turned out to be pretty amusing today. While on the phone with each other, other members of the family had the same idea to call everyone. So there was a lot of, "Oh, I'm getting another call!" and "I'll call you back!" and other crazy shenanigans. But I did get to talk to everyone, and tell them all that I loved them, which filled me with warm, fuzzy goodness, which is always nice. And my brother, Derek, made me laugh so hard as we talked about video games and playing them while drinking, and other stuff. His spontaneous profanity is hilarious to me, as well.

Then Joe and I headed out to see Goblet of Fire, which was really good! I enjoyed it immensely. Except for the part where movie-goers think it's okay to talk to one another during the movie. How is it even possible for people to be so inconsiderate? Anyway, the movie itself was awesome, and I'm so glad we got to see it!

Afterwards, we went to Disneyland, where we had dinner, enjoyed the fireworks show, then got chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa for dessert.

Now we're home and just finished watching the Christmas episode of Dr. Who, which is one of our very favorite shows. We were waiting for it for weeks, and it was so good! Now we're really looking forward to next season's shows, which should be very, very cool.

And since tomorrow is a workday, I'm off to bed. And so ends this year's Christmas. A wonderful day!
