My last morning there, I got to wear Ruby in the baby bjorn as Wyatt and I took a walk to get some coffee. Well, I got an Italian soda, and he got coffee. Ruby chose a nap in the bjorn.

We relaxed in the chair together for a while. Then, she woke up to adjust herself and started to cry when she realized we weren't walking around anymore. Poor kiddo!

I began singing to Ruby as we walked, and it was really funny to watch her watch me, furrowing her brow every so often, or just looking amazed ("Sound is coming out of her mouth!").

It's funny, because before I got here, I wondered, how do people stay home with newborns all day? Doesn't that get boring? And I've discovered that it's weird just how entertaining watching an infant respond to the world around them really is.
